You wouldnt happen to know if it had a good header panel on it or not do you? I need a new one since I busted mines to pieces out at URE a few weeks ago.

On the flip side Ive got the heep partial sanded down. Trying to make do with the busted header panel.

To be honest, i'm not sure. That Jeep was fairly in tact, which was surprising for a late model on that lot as they're usually picked pretty clean crazy fast.

I did find it strange to be a 2wd model. Didn't think Classics came in the 2wd variety...
 
I think ill probably try to make the one I got work, I am too broke to spend any more moolah on the heep. At least I got all summer to work on it now.

Went up to the GW National Forest this weekend and met up with my dad and brother. knocked out about 100 miles on the trails. not bad for climbing 3 peaks.

Big flat rock i found. rode the property line to the top.

Said good bye to the Italians today, and damn it felt great. Looking forward to the day off tomorrow to mentally change gears then starting the new gig on Wednesday.

Also got a goodie box from Tennessee today...

damn, that tire carrier and bumper look sexy-- it almost looks like the installers knew what they were doing when they put that on..... or they got really lucky.

I'm moving to a company in Charlotte that designs and manufactures components for the power industry (think power grids and whatnot). Official title will be Applications Engineer. Basically working with customers and manufacturing to make sure their parts are being manufactured properly. Once I learn the product some i'll be traveling around the country to the customers job sites to help with installation, training, tuning, repairs...etc.

That sounds awesome Tim! Sounds like something I would like. Congrats!
 
Put on the 5speed crossmember I've had lying around. New trans mount, and motor mounts. SO much better now. Also changed the t case and diff fluids, and adjusted tcase linkage. :)
 
First day of the new job was a success. It's nice to be with people that are laid back and enjoying laughing and having fun while working. Lot of work to be done and more importantly, a lot of learning. Definitely glad this opportunity came along.
