Weekend is over...what did you get done?

meh it is what it is....there wont be many times in life where i can walk in and tell them to cram it and leave ;) might as well take advantage of it

Yes there will. You just have to be willing to let the bridge burn. I did this with my last employer (6 years ago). Dec 1st. 3 kids wife mortgage etc, etc. He thought he had me by the short hairs. Turns out it was the reverse. He had to beg me to stay for 3 months to get them through a transition.

It is very freeing.

they already asked me to stay another couple of weeks..... i told them they could have one day ;)

Meh do what I did. I thought I told you my story in the truck. You're in the drivers seat here. Tell them under what conditions you'll come back. If they don't accept them, then see ya! Don't play games back and forth.

My boss backed down on scheduling me for the weekend and apologized, but there isn't shit he can do to keep me there... it is not worth the intrusion on my life and massive amount of stress and bullshit. Just plain isn't.

It really rubbed me the wrong way how he tried to sneak it by me and deceive me into agreeing to it. Can't trust him at all anymore now that I know he'll pull shenanigans like that over things that really don't matter in the long run.

And if you do, get it in writing before you agree to any of it. Paper sings! :)

I may be in a similar situation before too long if things don't make a serious change for what needs to be done (i.e. the better) where i'm at.

Are you running a drop pitman with that set-up? It looks like you would have a lot of bumpsteer.

I have the JKS track bar that was single shear like your RE. I double sheared and braced my stock bracket and I actually feel the difference with sharper handling. Its amazing how much flex there is in that bracket.

Actually, my Dad took those pictures. He's on the FD so the let him in a tad bit closer than anyone else. Not sure they knew he was taking pictures. But they're on the web now... too late!

The cause hasn't been released yet. Best I figure is he took that curve too fast or hit bad track. Car 20-46 out of 96 cars derailed. Not sure what would cause the 20th car to derail first.
