Weekend is over...what did you get done?

Usually I can clean all the connections and battery terminals and it fixes most problems. But this crap of them coming back on after I've shut the Jeep off is a new one...

Yeahhell that's a problem. Good luck with it and let us know what you find.

I'm bout to go yank the blower resistor off mine and see if I can get the fan blowing. I actually have too much going on around the house to be messing with this Heep... I miss last Saturday when I had 4 people on it.
:gee:

I started tearing down the Comanche for the rebuild/resurrection. Ripped off the windshield and started pulling the interior out. It runs great, I wanna drive it down the road but not without a wind sheild.

So you've decided to keep it and rebuild it?

Why not?

As long as you have safety glasses on you're legal.

Might be a bit chilly in VA, tho.

I turned the tags into the DMV today so I can drop the insurance until we get it back on the road. Plus my inspection sticker was on the windshield, kinda need that in VA

So you've decided to keep it and rebuild it?

Yes! It will either get rebuilt or I will buy a rust free body and swap everything over. I hope to rebuild this one.

Drove a T300 Bobcat in the woods today and used the hydraulic powered auger to drill some holes! Driving a Bobcat in the URE trails gives one new respect for them!

Hung out with my mom while she is in town and pimped out my 10/22 a little more. Going to the autoX in the morning.

Fabbed up my front bumper and finally got it put on. Not sure if I'll add a stinger when I get a winch for it. Having a buddy put an OTK crossover steering Monday and I'll get pics of it when its done, then my ProComp Xtreme mud terrains will be put on hopefully next weekend then it will be time to hit the mountain again.

Got the old BFGs on the jeep so I can drive it...LOL gave it a bath but still have some work to do.

Also got 4 of the 5 goats in the trailer and hope to be goat free come tomorrow...I HATE GOATS!! (these are not my goats they belong to my brother but I have given them away to a local guy so they will stay out of my yard and off my jeep.)

I put some Solid diff covers on the Rubicons' Axles. So beef is so sexy!
ooh i found out Pep boys sells BFG KM2's in the 35x12.50x15 for $196 each.. damm good price!

Where is the nearest Pep Boys??
oh, and you left me with that CROCK plate.....

I took the interior out of the MJ today so I could clean the mud off of everything and vacuum the glass out. I also wanted to dry out the floorboards since they are rust free. i coated them with POR15 when we did the resto and thet still look great.

I washed all of the DD Jeeps then worked on the roof sliders for the trail rig.

Supercross in Atlanta this weekend. Had a blast and put a lot of miles on my roommate's car by the end of the weekend. Looking forward to doing it again next year!

Crappy cell phone pic of the track:

So what did you guys get knocked out this weekend?

Nothing really.

Change melted 30a blower fuse for 25a.
Changed blower resistor, no joy.
Test lead test of blower motor, nothing happening.
Pulled old blower motor out, swapped birdcage to new motor, cut harness, realized I don't have large enough gauge connectors.
Hope it doesn't rain today with that big hole in the firewall.

I could have gotten it done, obviously, but I spend the weekend meeting people trying to get my wife's car sold so she can get something else. Showed it to about 10 people, no offers yet...
:bs:

I think I got my Neck broke by an Evo X yesterday at the AutoX. Totally worth it, that car was unreal!

:scared: We happened across an AL SCCA Solo event down here... the 8 yr old was digging it. I didn't see anything as kewl as an Evo.
