Yeah, I don't have a motorcycle jack or a transjack. Just going to be a regular jack and luck.
This is just 3/4" tubing, so I used my Ridgid 368 Mechanical bender. Its a sweet little set-up, and does up to 180 degrees w/ 11 gauge (0.120") wall. This is 16 gauge wall.

you should use your fab skills to build me a brush guard
an AW4 with torque converter weighs... not sure, I'd have to guess around 150-170lbs. You definitely want to pull the 4 torque converter bolts out of the flexplate so it comes with the transmission otherwise you end up with the torque converter and transmission cocked sideways and it'll jam instead of pulling off.Meh, I've lost hope on the trailer right now. I MIGHT see what I can do with it but it's far from top priority. I thought it'd be simple but it's not working out that way. I don't have time to put into a lot of work on a trailer.
On the other hand, I managed to get the shifter loose, throttle cable loose, drive shaft off and the inspection cover off the MJ. I need a little help to go much farther to pull the transmission. I think it's a bit heavier than I can handle on my back.
sheet of plywood. bam. done. That'd be awesome if I had a shop floor to work on instead of soggy grass.

I use a sheet of plywood with great success. I think he is just a drama queen.
