Weekend is over...what did you get done?

Ta Da.

All is well now that I swapped in my spare ECU and grounded the starter relay.

That's a feature, not a malfunction.

Some new age type of anti-theft that nobody really understands yet? lol

Found a new use for driveshafts at the junk yard this weekend:

Went over to an old friends tonight to catch up, and more importantly drool over and play with this:

Pulled the motor and trans from the ole MJ plus tried to clean up the engine bay a little.

I worked on my MJ and got the front driver caliper, pads and rotor replaced; which I found out the hard way that you have to repack the bearings to do the job correctly.

Checked the rear brakes and they have meat on them and just a slight amount of drag on the drums.

finished plating the rear frame sections and set the rear axle back under jeep. Plan to get tabs for links located and tacked in today.

It looks like High2by and myself will be working in the shop to get things ready for the wrenchfest. I have some stuff to move and haul off to make things a little more efficient when we are working on Rusty's XJ.

Hoping to finish up the repair work this weekend.

Working so I can drive to Ed's for the wrenchfest! Might change the oil in the rocket too.

Just got finished removing the rear platform out of the Teal B*tch, and re-installed the rear seats, and seatbelts. Its now Kid and Passenger friendly again!

Whichever engineer decided it would be ok to put in a huge torx head bolt through the seatbelts - which also sticks through the unibody and subsequently out in the elements - and then torqued to stupid specs, should be shot in the big toe with a 12 gauge. It only took 4 torx sockets to get them out, and back in.

:yelclap: I heard that, about went through one just loosening it to ground my negative wire on my amp to it.

finally got my heap back on all fours with new and improved rear four link. Lets see what breaks next time. Its only been what, two and a half months since I broke it at Harlan? Not bad for me. I must be speeding up in my old age.

Major shop excavation complete. More room to work and now more organized. I owe High2by a huge thanks for the help today.

Celebrated a combined birthday party for my now 1 year old boy and my 7 year old daughter. Good day.
