Weekend is over...what did you get done?

I have the long arms. Glenn's right, the way it was on that rock, it wouldn't have mattered who's it was. I'll try and get a picture or two of it tomorrow. I'm hoping a press can straighten it some though.

Gotcha covered!

Wheeled with a bunch of my best friends this past weekend at the Crawl. Can't have a better time than that!

I agree, good to see you damn southerners again! :D

Whats the new kayak?

Old Town Trip Angler 10ft. There's a picture of them in the Jeeps and Kayaks thread.

I actually just took one of the original ones I bought last month back to have it replaced. It had a large dent in the bottom that wouldn't come out. Dick's swapped it out no questions asked. Pretty good CS if ya ask me.

It was like I turned it upside and sat on it. It stayed that way. I picked it up that night, came home and noticed that the next morning. It didn't have a strap across that part of it... idk.

I've got a pretty interesting trip planned for Sunday. We are starting out at 9. PM if you want to try to make it and I can shoot you some details.

And needs to find time to come get an axle!

headed to cape Canaveral for the shuttle launch.

I will be pulling the front bumper and maybe looking at houses.

This past weekend I finally got around to hitting the local pull-a-part and got me some calipers, caliper brackets, and backing plates from a ZJ to do my rear disc brake conversion. Paid $43 and I got the rotors and a set of pads since they looked great and virtually brand new minimal rust on the rotors and the pads has almost zero use and no brake dust almost like the rotors and pads were replaced the week the ZJ was junked.

ordered new rod ends and DOM for the rear 4 link i broke. Going to be BEEF and not chicken ( i would have said "weiners" if i had not met Nate last week). Also going to truss the 9" housing while i am at it.

Yeah, I do need to do that...

Today I realized that a coil spring compressor would make my life much easier. I stuck some spacers in my stock suspension and can't get the springs back in. I tried every angle I could. Tried with the shocks loose, sway bar loose, one side crammed all the way in the fender well and the other side a full droop. Still no where near going in there. Parts store for a compressor in the morning.

You do know we expect pics of the carnage and the uber cool repair and upgrade you do, right?

found a front header panel at the jy.. just need time to put it on.
I bought a exhaust manifold gasket for the "newish" one i found at the JY.

Cleaned the Cherokee Crawl off of my jeep! :D

Went to see Nick and traded some parts for his motor. :)
STarted the repair on the frame rail.
