Weekend is over...what did you get done?

haha nice man...like how it says 'no touching the girls' on the sign behind you...

next time u hit up nashville let me know, im 15 mins from downtown

woohoo! got my 500$ explorer driving today.... front d/s had a bad cardan joint in it so i pulled it and drove it... dude sold it to me with a super cherry 5.0 drivetrain cuz some kid thought it was messed up bad... turns out it runs like a champ

Cracked and slightly spread an effen 44 casting on the rear axle of my willys... tubes didn't bend this time though, and I was once again able to drive it out under its own power. Tube didn't brake completely off, only cracked around the lower part of the tube and seperated about a 1/4", not sure how bad it really is. I do know that the crack goes behind the cover and into the inside of the housing. Actually, the Rock Crusher cover is what held it together. Im gonna pull it out this week and do some more inspecting. I have over 30 hours working on that housing, its about 85% custom with the laser cut bracketry that I desgned, the sleeves, and the narrowing. So Im gonna hopefully take it to a machine shop and have it welded back together. Then I'll build a mini truss along the bottom to prevent it from happening again.

On a brighter note, I got the new mufflers on before the trip today...

Finally go the blinkers, hazards, brake lights and interior lights working properly.

Next up is replacing the speedo cable and finishing the cluster swap. Then, seals.

also along with a mini truss on the bottom you should put a truss on the top to help hold it down...

finished rear quarter panel cut/fold...installed a side view mirror on drivers side to make me street legal. helped my friend change his oil in his WJ, and picked up another spare passenger side hub/axle shaft from the junk yard

Cleaned up the IACV on the wifes DD. It no longer dies and she is happy!!!
Went to change the shocks on the rear and broke one of the shock mounting bolts.:tears: I'm not sure what I'll do now. I can weld a grade 8 bolt back to it but I have been thinking of raising the shock mounts anyway, now may be the time.

pulled a spare set of doors from a junkyard, $20 all you can carry also got a engine wiring harness, brake booster and master cylinder from a 96 XJ a bunch of lights(seems I'm always breaking them) now I just need to start on my half doors.

hammer+screwdriver.... drive out nutcerts and use regular old bolts, nover failed..... if you have the stock rear swaybar brackets off the springs they make great free bar pin eliminators.... im runnin em on the wag :D

So friday I fly home. Saturday I put new ujoints in the 95, drove about 100 yards and the driveshaft threw itself off. I have no idea what the problem is. But it was raining and college football was on...so i went that route instead. Who knows when I'll be home again to fix that thing. Now I'm in vegas for work. yipee

Installed a Rockcrusher diff cover on my 8.25, replaced my oil pressure sending unit, and changed the oil, filter, and air filter. Ordered new unit bearings because my wheels are threatening to fall off.

didnt know those two words could be used together ;)
It's actually not as cool as it sounds. the site is 40 min from the hotel and we work 12 hour days...so it's not all fun and games.
And I'm attempting to save some money this fall.

Oh I'll gamble. but I use the per diem that the company gives me instead of using my own money.
And I learned about a "theory" of prediction for roulette. so if it's true I'll be getting more stuff done to the jeep!
