Weekend is over...what did you get done?

picked up the kids from school today in the jeep, it was their first ride ever in the heep...... i have never seen two three year olds have so much fun riding in a vehicle :D

Doug, I think its awesome that you actually enjoy driving this one on the road! Maybe this one will live a better life than the bumble bee lol.

found me a new toy--

'91 w/ no freeze plugs.... among other stuff. Fortunately, I've got everything it needs (I think) sitting in the garage-- all I've got to do is pull the D30 and doors for the owner and keep the rest. I'm torn as to building another, or stockpiling spares for the current one....... opinions?

finally got the P.O.S. dragged over here from it's last resting spot. Fenders, hood, header panel, and bumper went on without any problems-- now it looks like a Jeep again.... kinda. She'll be getting a pressure wash/bath this P.M. and I'll start an inventory of needs/wants after that.
No major work 'til I run and abandoned vehicle claim on the title....30 days and counting!!

its a blast.... im looking for some nice radial tires to swap my ltbs for for so i can actually balance my wheel and tire combo... i might charge the ac tomorrow too

SAWEET! My a/c died. Apparently I put a pin hole in the condenser somehow at that last Windrock trip. I believe I can have it fixed though. Just haven't had time to pull it apart and take it somewhere.

Fabbed up some brackets to mount the Hella's on my roof rack yesterday afternoon and met some new NAXJA locals to talk XJ and enjoy some wings and beer last night. Spent today installing and wiring the two lights on the rack...can't wait for it to get dark and try it out tonight :)

It's alive........ "new" '91 jumped to life with a fuel pump ballast bypass. P.O. had decided to dismantle it due to "major" engine problems--

we'll list them here:

1. coolant leak (rusted freeze plug on side of block)
2. began stumbling and died when they went to move it (burned ballast)

for all these horrible problems, I had it given to me. It's a shame he had another Jeep, or he wouldn't have pulled half of it apart for spare parts:rattle:

It's been promised to momma as a second driver, so I said I'd keep my wish list to myself. All I've gotten so far, is that it WILL have good A.C. and EVERYTHING will work right. She's playing the game and told me she wanted it PINK, to see what I'd say-- I told her it's her canvas and if she wants pink, pink it'll be.

Nothin much.

Nice, Greg, really nice!!!

great buy!:yelclap: one thing DO NOT put a big power chip on it.

my dad has a 05 & 06 power strokes.

the 05 we put on a intake. exhust and EDGE programer. well after 3 turbos and 2 head jobs in 90k mi. we sold the truck.

the 06 we just put on a s&b intake and magnaflow exhust.
and have had no major problems with it in 145k mi.

you're just jealous of my sexy truck...325hp, 570 ft lbs torque and can tow up to 17,000 lbs. oh yea...and the A/C works!

No doubt I'm jealous of the truck, just not the payment.
