got a 4.2 block. dont know of the condition. been in the weather. you want it you can have it. probly need bored/ honed. n bearings.

i'd like to take a look at it... could you post some pics?
the one i have is cracked in the water jacket, right behind the water pump on the driver's side. it isn't leaking now, but it is still overheating. i think the radiator is clogged, and that's what made it run hot enough to crack in the first place.

Went mud riding with my brother's brother in laws & shorted out my alternator...it tested bad yesterday but tested good today so my BF is in the process of putting it back on. He also told me that he's washing & waxing my jeep this week & daring me to take it in the mud again. He's finally figured out why I dislike mud...makes it a pain to work on. But I can play on the rock all I want.

Looks good blake! I attended the 45th Mustang Anniversarry at Barber Mortorsports Park in Birmingham, AL. Have to admit, it wasn't as much fun as I had expected. But I had fun driving there and back, only speed tested the car a few times. Just so happened that were cars right next to me that were also speed testing their cars... I would never race on a public road, but I never got outrun in any of these said speed tests. Oh, and the car only hit 140 a few times in case anybody is wondering...

Installed Rocker guards, corner gaurds. Fixed gasket on fuel cell. Dewired york OBA. Replaced bad fan relay. Went to Wooly's and wheeled.

Went home Friday and worked on the Jeep a little...tried to track down the leak from the water pump but it's decided to stop leaking so I ran a few errands and celebrated my birthday with the family. Went to Virginia Intl. Raceway (VIR) in VA (duh) on Saturday with my dad to watch the Grand-Am Rolex Race which was awesome..haven't been up there with dad in a couple of years. Went out for a bit last night once I got back from that, then came back to Charlotte today to prepare for finals that start on Thursday...:banghead:

Went to a minor league ball game, changed oil in the '00, welded 'frame rail' plates onto the'92, ground the welds and thats about all.

Wheeled all day Saturday at Aetna. Went to High2by & Anita's wedding Sunday.

Changed out the front output seal in the t-case after fighting with Advanced Idiots about what t-case I had, and what the seal looked like, and where the seal went while looking at the pictures(Haynes), oh yea and telling me that ATF wasn't used in t-cases, then I left and went to Orileys. I hate to sound arrogant but unless they have or worked on an XJ, they don't know more than me(and I dont know a lot by any means, but I do know my jeep). Especially when I pulled the dang seal first. Then I got drunk and it was all good then.
