Weekend is over...what did you get done?

Well after following some advice on here, trouble shot the trans some more. Dropped the pan and found a wonderful 1/8" thick layer of pudding coating the inside of the pan. Clean everything up real good, run to the parts store for filter and gasket. Get home...wrong damn gasket of course. (Yeah yeah I should have pulled it out of the box at the store) 1 hour later and two parts stores later I get home. Help Mrs. 10 hang some Christmas decor. Return to the driveway just in time for it to start pouring down rain. And I was so close to have the heep driving again. Oh well maybe this evening.

Well over the last week I've pulled both diffs. and got them welded, replaced the front axle u-joints, and installed some Lower control arms and some 2" coil spacers to level everything out.

Drove to my parent's Tuesday night, went to the junk yard for some 4Runner parts for a friend on Wednesday...pigged out on turkey Thursday...drove to Raleigh late Friday night for the state football game on Saturday...drove back to my parent's...and about to get one last home cooked meal before I head back to Charlotte.

So in other words, a lot of driving over the last few days!

Well I got home from my parents after Turkey day and drove up to Rock Hill today to swap my 8.25 for a 9" and sold my D30 Locker. Got the address to the kid that screwed me out $$ for the other XJ I sold him. So it has been a good day.

I went and picked up another '87 for parts.

cleaned out both jeeps, replaced the ignition module thinggy in my 88, grinded down some bolts on my rear bumper of the 99, re painted it and took the 88 drifting out in a dusty dirt lot.

an awesome weekend if i do say so myself

Well I took the family down to Chattanooga for my son's pee wee football tournament, finished the season off with a win taking 3rd place. Enjoyed the rest of the weekend with the fam at the aquarium, choo choo, and Ruby Falls.

Happy Late Turkey Day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sat on my ass and did nothing Friday night...went to a Christmas party Saturday night and after an hour got a call from my roommate that his Jeep locked up in the middle of one of the busiest intersections in Charlotte, so I drove out to get him to find the tcase blown up (literally...fist size hole in the front)....disconnected the DS's and towed him back to the apartment...then drove an hour to my parents to watch the house and dog while they were at a company Christmas party. Drove back to Charlotte Sunday morning and helped a friend drive a 4Runner to his apartment.

Now it's time to crunch for Finals...

studied. wheeled a little. few friends went out to eat. sunday went to ride go carts at concord mills mall. parked beside a red lifter 97+ xj. (mines blue incase it was you) had about 4.5 lift and maybe 32s or 33s

So who worked the pedals and who steered? Or is he blind and you navigated?

hahaha more like he just got it running...it has some not so good brakes, a busted turn signal lens, no brake lights and no exhaust....plus he borrowed the old tag off his XJ he recently sold to buy the 4Runner....so I drove his Mustang back behind him to kinda not make it look so obvious.

Plus I helped him bleed the brakes and make sure it was running decent enough to get it the 20 miles home.
