Weekend is over...what did you get done?

I just cleaned the hell out of my garage today getting all the firebird parts piled up and ready to get out of there. Need to make room for a future MJ lol.

Installed fog lights on the DD Friday night:

Now i'm trying to track down why my Jeep is doing this:

I've been through everything inside the Jeep, cleaned the battery connections, went over all the grounds, and it's still doing it. Driving me up the freakin wall!!!

Have you checked the two bolts that secure the dash to the a-pillars? My jeep was doing some goofy electrical stuff after I installed my overhead console. Don't ask me why, but it turns out that the dash needs a solid connection to the body for all the stuff in the dash to work properly.

No I haven't actually. Even though I haven't had the whole dash off (yet), it's still worth a check.

Stupid electrical problems. Crap drives me absolutely nuts!

Got my IRO double shear track bar installed, changed the fluid in both diffs, as well as my transfer case, and cleaned out my throttle body and IAC! After all that I gave it a good wash and now it's looking good. If only I had the tools/strength to get my LCA bolts off...I would have had those replaced today too.

Bring it by the house tomorrow if you want help with the LCA bolts.

Thanks for the offer, but I am going to see if the alignment shop can slap them in there before they do the alignment. I wouldn't want to drive it to your place like it is, without an alignment. The steering wheel is all out of whack and I just don't feel super comfortable driving it that far like it is.

Washed my heep and finally ordered my new alternator. Also picked up marine terminals and a new battery hold down. Partied with friends Friday and Saturday night, and realized how old I am getting!

???? I think I've still got underwear from 1982..... Enjoy your 30's once you get there and don't ever call yourself old unless you want to start believing it!! :anon:

I finished my roof sliders. Other than my pipe bending looking like crap they turned out nice. They are more function than form though, the pipe bending is really bad!

Brithday party for my 6 year old on Saturday. Then Sunday after chuch I mowed, the layed down weed killer, then washed all 3 Jeeps.

My plans are for Tuesday. It is a standing tradition of mine to take my birthday as a vacation day. My goal is to be in the garage installing my SYE by 7:30 am.

Then starts my killer stretch. Leaving Wednesday for CHI and will be on the road every weekend until May 5, with the exception of one weekend at home in mid April.

Washed the XJ, Chevy, and Navigator. Went to a birthday party, had dinner over at my Dad's, installed the driver side Thor Quarter guard, and upgraded my 3rd brake light to 30 LED's.

Wednesday one of the boys got the virus running around. Was home with him Thursday and Friday. Friday night I went to the play the other one ran lights for. Later that night I got a call from his mom that he now had the virus. Saturday went to Fayetteville, NC to get a new lens for the 35mm. Then to Myrtle Beach, SC for some shopping for new clothes. Saturday evening came home to get ready to go out up town and an old friend from Florida called me up. Talked about and hour and he might come visit next weekend. Ended up Saturday calling a friend and taking her out for a drink that evening. Had a great weekend till Sunday morning at 4:30 and the virus hit me! Home now recuperating.

lol Sounds like a I'd need to recooperate from just having a hectic weekend.

Btw, I recieved the package. You sure as hell didn't want to worry about damage... They could have dropped that box from 3k feet in the air into my yard and the part would have been fine. Did you rob the Newspaper to pack the box? ;)

Yes, it's still in the box and it appears to be the right part.

Thank you, Sir.

got my LED taillights on, and looked at the pieces for my bumper, but decided not to weld them together just yet.... cleaned my stock rims with acid to get the black junk off. i wanna go wheeeeeeeeeling.
