Put everything that needs installing in a stack in the garage. Winch bumper (used), winch (used), diff covers, rack light switch, steering brace. Need more daylight hours...

I finally made some progress on a hybrid steel shelf/cargo box for the rear of my XJ. Things tend to be a pain in the ass when you're re-designing everything as you go...

Finally got around to taking pictures of the new lift. I went from this:

The track-bar is actually over corrected right now, I'll fix that when I do the clutch this weekend.

Oh yeah, and the old DD is "new" to me again. The 34mpg is wonderful and I'm back caught up where I can own two vehicles.

Does it still drive on the road alright? I've gotta figure out why mine feels sooo bad on the road.

The ass end wanders all over the place. The front is REALLY bouncey.

I'm thinking about linking the rear end or at least build a traction bar and I've GOT to get some different shocks for the front. STIFF shocks!

Yeah the drive is good. No wobble or wander at all with the new lift.

How much lift is it now? I'm hoping that once I get the new axle in, lower it 2" and put the sway bar back on it I'll have decent road manners.

I'm on the same lift with 33x12.50 BFG AT's. With the wide tires it seems to grab the grooves in the road and feels like its wandering. Does anyone else's do this or is it just me? My YJ doesn't do it, but it has 35 BFG MT's.
