Weekend is over...what did you get done?

FFFFfffff. Who's brilliant idea was that? I suppose replacing all the other TRE's would be pointless if the knuckle end of the drag link is FUBAR too.

I thought when I looked at it the other day that it was replaceable. Ha.

Only if you have an aftermaket one. Go look at IronMan4x4fab and see the ones Andy makes. They are the beef! Uses TRE that are replaceable.

In all reality, what is the point in using TREs??? I mean, to run a bigger TRE, you have to ream out everything anyway. Why not just drill it out to 3/4 and run heims? In can see them on something that is driven daily possibly, but if you are just looking for all out beef, heims are the only way to go.

had to take my little buddy to the emergency vet today (at 545 am) illl spare the grisly details but he was pretty sick. he ended up getting two IV's and is spending the night to make sure his symptoms clear up all the way, i just got home from visiting him and he is ten times better than when i took him in...... its been a long crazy day to say the least

poor guy really wanted to come home with me when i visited, hopefully have him home tomorrow evening.

Glad your little dude is feeling better, those can be some scary times! Give him some PB when he gets home as a present from my mutts.

poor little guy. hope he is doing better. my only run in with an emergency vet was when we hit my nieghbors cat with the car, ended up with a fracture on his pelvis but allright and the neighbors didnt want to pay the bill for him (we dont have their phone numbers and they were home, big surprise, but we took him anyways) they said they wouldnt have taken him to the vet and that they didnt have the money for it... so its our cat now, and he is doing much better

sad thing is a week or two after he got better from the accident, we nudered him, and hes been to the vet for check ups a couple times. had only one small complication from the surgery (a pocket of blood under his skin) they drained it and it has finally gone away a couple weeks later... good cat though, i call him my cat/dog because hes so laid back and sometimes acts more like a dog than a cat.

i went and picked up a car hauler. it was a tractor hauler and is BEEF. got it home yesterday and spent today wiring up the lights i had to install. i had some steel boxed lights ment for an XJ but i didnt want to use them and didnt want them to go to waste. so i cleaned em up and welded em on only after running out of welding wire lol. ill get pics up at some point. oh and ZERO progress on the 99 due to lack of parts. :(

started painting the xj with roller and kryon paint...

I got our mowers ready to do battle with the lawns. My 16 year old son and I mow yards as a side job, I only mow one or 2 but he has a few. I hope the grass grows as thick as a jungle this year:D

1 commercial walk behind
2 commercial self propelled
2 push mowers
4 trimmers
3 blowers
2 utility trailers

All ready for battle.

Drove an hour north from Charlotte to pick it up, then another hour north to Stokesdale to drop it off at my dads, then 2 hours south back to Charlotte.

Spent Saturday and today dealing with the general public and their stupidity at work.

Next time I go up to dads i'll have to take a picture of the guys "fix" for his broken alternator mount.....a piece of rope through one of the mounting bolts tied off to the firewall! :gee:

LF window regulator was a lot more of a pain in the ass than the damn harmonic balancer was haha. Those stupid steel pin rivets chrysler used are retarded. I ended up taking a small drill bit and drilling around the steel and punching out the pin w/ a screwdriver and hammer, then was able to drill the rest of the rivet out, did that to all 8 of them! hahaha.

After that I put on a factory (I think) brush guard thanks to Jamescad, and today I started on the overhead console, mounted the brackets in the ceiling and re-lined it w/ new headliner material. Tomorrow on my lunch break I will try and bolt it up and run the wiring!

finally got the '94 home to look into misfire(s) and triage it's condition. After a compression check, I decided she was in pretty bad shape. Any guesses what's wrong with it?
