how many of you are sick of seeing bonestock xj's with little tiny 215/75/15 spare tires straped to the roof( like they have EVER been wheelin before)?
i have mine mounted to my surco rack only when i go wheelin, can't afford a rear tire carrier, then i take it down, but when it's up there i feel like all the other boneheads that put it there to look cool.
sorry i just wanted to vent!! i've seen like 5 of them this week!!
them geeks should just stick to the rav-4's and santa-fe's....JACK@SSES!

I personally don't care where they mount their spare. Just curious, but what size tire would someone need to run before you will consider them a real off roader.

That is similar to some kid that has a set of Airborne wings on his bag at school. I asked if he was and he didnt know what I referring to. I asked him to take it off because we have to earn the wings. Oh well.

I've seen some people off-road with small street tires that would probably put you to shame. It's not necessarily what's being driven but rather who is doing the driving.
