I have a boring 'ol bi-fold wallet that's seeing the end of it's days.

Are there any awesome wallets produced or are they all just plain and boring bi-fold wallets that hold some money and credit cards?

The more function and awesome, the better.

My girl got me a nice ass wallet over the holidays spent well over 100$ for it.. And To be honest other then the plate with engraving on it ... i cant tell the difference in it from any other wallet i have ever had... Other then the leather is really soft lol

Just buy whatever's in the bargain bin at building 19 or your local equivalent.

My bi-fold is getting pretty worn out after 5 years or so (most of that time with 4 spare keys loose in one of the pockets), I think it's time to splurge another 10 bucks.

I take running out of card pockets/space as a sign that I need to carry fewer cards and receipts, not a sign that I need more pockets for them. Usually works out pretty well.

As for color - who cares as long as it isn't bright pink, and works?

My wife used to work for coach and got me a front pocket style wallet. It holds Cards mostly, but I fold up cash and stick it in there too. It is slim and is easy to pull a debit card and my ID card from which is all I cared about.

Spec-Ops Brand "Tactical Holds Everything" (T.H.E.) wallet. First wallet I've ever owned that's lasted me more than six months (going on twelve years. Gotta get a new one one of these days - the ID window has fogged/blackened rather badly. Probably due to abuse. The wallet itself is still fine.)

I have no reservations whatever about dropping the thirty bucks to get another one - I just need to find thirty bucks that I don't need for something else first!

At one of the get togethers, StumpXJ was talking about the wallet he had; said it was the only one he had that had lasted more than a few months or a year. He and his wife were stationed in Germany and a lady would come on base and sell wallets made out of cork (like wine corks....they kind that comes off a cork bark bearing tree). He said that it was quite a bit more than a normal wallet but lasted extremely well.

It was a soft material and very nice looking; I've been thinking about getting one but they are pretty expensive and I cant find one that i like too much.

Mine is from Wilson's Leather. It's like a bifold but.....it's not a bifold. It does fold in half and has a money clip (magnet) on the outside of it. There is an ID window on the inside and a place for CC's on the other. They're really hard to find though. Last time I found them I bought 3.

:huh:If you have an XJ, what the hell do you need a wallet for. Do you have money left to carry around?
To carry the receipts in case my coil spring cracks 3 years after I install it, so I can prove I bought them.

Oh... and to carry my ID so I can drive the XJ and get drunk, obviously not at the same time.

:D

Mine is money clip with a pocket attached to it for your credit cards and ID

this is the route I took after years of carrying around a bulky wallet, Plus i've always lived in shady cities so you need something slim to keep in your front pocket
