Post up to change or confirm. Who is planning on meeting up at Joe's parking lot? We need to know who to wait for.

Alright, where is the Joe's parking lot? 9 a.m. there? If not there, what time you planning on hitting the main gravel lot at Walker, 9:30?

I'm about 90% in for this.

Joes is on College way right as you get off of I-5 in Mt Vernon, but if your coming up Hwy 9 better just to meet us at the main lot. Probably 930ish, hope to see you there Doug.

Whoops. Looks like I forgot to pay my membership dues :dunce:

Anyways.....I ran Walker today with Michael(and Dad!), Ryan, Matt, and Tracey today to check out the trail conditions. Overall, the trail is in decent shape, and wasn't as wet as I thought it was going to be. Some areas were pretty chewed up though. We will most likely split into 2 or more groups on Saturday to make travel more efficient. And if the weather is as nice as it was today, expect about 1 squizillion people on bikes and quads. Most of the time the stay off the Jeep trails, but we ran across, and waited, for several large groups of them. Tracey's(Metal Thrasher) Jeep is open diffs front/rear, and he was able to get through everything with just one winch pull. But it was slick, and rocker protection is highly recommended. Expect some body damage if you get careless.

Had a great time today guys! Nice to meet your Dad, Michael. Post up any pictures if you have any!

Expressway is the big concern with open / open. The other part of Upper Mainline that the Expressway bypasses has a couple nasty obstacles that are difficult open x2 but doable w/o winching (WATCH that STUMP!). In fact RRT - REDLINE Rick ran down it in a stock XJ. So far I've used my winch exclusvely on Expressway. ( yes the controller fell apart within the first 5 uses including practice uses at the family compound).

And a reminder to the newbies(if there are any in this group). Recovery points front and rear are a good idea. And a tow strap, jack, and spare tire are mandatory equipment in my opinion. Tools, air, and spare parts are recommended too. Come prepared, and don't forget to bring a lunch!

-Jeremy

Myself and probably 4 others from B'ham will be there....looks like quite the turnout!!!Will make quite the :photo: !!!Lookin like we'll definitely have to split up into a couple groups and meet somewhere for lunch?

I will always spell your name like that. Just because.

Besides, you can't spell your first name right.

Update:
Not a front main seal but a hole in the timing cover where the previous balancer separated and dug into it. JB welded tonight and will put back together tomorrow.
Hell or high water, I'll be there!
Have a built Rubicon joining me.
I missed the M&G in Lynnwood so happy to finally meet you guys.
