URE Meet and Greet....

Im down almost whenever, the jeep definately needs wheel bearings (I think) or something else, but everything else works great, few minor fixes, I can be at URE whenever is good for everone, 97 XJ with 8 inches of lift and 36's. I have been having net problems lately but feel free to email me or give me a call if a event is approaching

Ofcourse my name is Eric, if your having issues around Greensboro I will be glad to help as I can.

Ive only had this jeep for 3 weeks maybe, took it to URE and beat the hell out of it just to find the issues, found the weak links, fortunately nothing crazy, possibly wheel bearings, new pinion wedges and need steel blocks and good shocks. otherwise no issues. Ready to roll whenever the meet is set.

Anytime before may 13th, I have to go to court and I am looking at a minimum of 7 days so, anytime not in may works well for me.

some time in june would be the best for me. i have the heep almost back together should have my trailer sorted out and my new to me tow rig on hand and ready to roll.

the first or the 18th would be the best for me cause my dad is off those days that way i can drag him along too :)

I believe Ghost is going this weekend, I have been busy and havent even washed my jeep since my URE trip, gotta do a few fixes, including get those new shocks with my refund money from KC extremes. Looks like under the circumstances it will be June before Im able.

On the plus side, my pops is buying a new welder friday, so can do a little fab work for my heep :D But first, I must learn to do some fab work, I have very little welding experience :X

No I still have to put my new tie rod on this weekend some time. And try to get this xtera out of my shop. GRRRR. Damn Nissian. I'm thinking the weekend of May15th. It will most likely be a day trip for me though. Iwill come up and be at Eldorado by 10 am.

If anyone needs parts I have access to a JY with about 7 or 8 xj in it. There are also some Grands too. One even has the disc break rear.

FYI, I cleaned up this thread regarding the recent crap that was going back and forth. Anything more regarding this will result in an immediate infraction.

My dad me and probably one of my friends will be there the 15th. Were gonna try to meet you at elderado outpost at 10 but it deends on when my dad gets off work. So who all is going?

Andy

Are we still thinking the 15th?

My Lemons race team is not racing, I might put the family or the boys in the truck and come up.

Not sure now. Pulled some stuff appart sunday and found some issues in the steering that need to be addressed. (leaky box, have to redo hydroassist) I lost he computer at work on Monday so keeping up with this has been a challange. I was thinking on the next weekend if that is not the weekend I have to go to Aiken.

I may be able to make a day trip for the 15th.

come on you kno you wanna work really hard so you can go up the 15th and meet me and my dad :wave1: :kissyou:

Short story: Due to a court ruling, the Forest Service must make a new Land and Resource Management Plan for each national forest. YOU can have a say in how this plan is made! But you have to do it BEFORE May 8th, 2010. ONLY if our voice is heard can we expect Uwharrie to be there for our future use.

Here is where you can read The Plan draft: http://www.cs.unca.edu/nfsnc/uwharri...arrie_plan.pdf

Here is where you can send your comment: submit remarks to:
[email protected]
Include "Uwharrie Plan" in the subject line.

If you don't have time to read the plan and formulate a comment, at least take the time to copy, paste and send the following.

SAMPLE COMMENT

"Thank you for the opportunity to participate in the planning process for Uwharrie National Forest.

As a user of the forest I ask that you continue to provide FULL SIZE OHV, "Jeep", trails as part of the new plan."
