It's neat, but I wouldn't have much use for that....even though half of my co-workers think I'll buy one anyway. I'm still waiting for the damn second spool I ordered to come in so I can lock up my E-Revo on both ends and try crawling with that.
I saw that a little while ago, if I can sneak it in, I plan on ordering one when I get my tax refund...I have no real use for a straight up crawler, everything around me is sand and dirt, but I would like to be able to crawl when I get the option.
I'd go with an Axial or a Venom Creeper 2.2 way before one of those piles... way cheaper and real solid axles. The venom has selectable lockers too for extra $$. Wheeling with that is like wheeling with a hummer with that IFS...
I've actually tried crawling my E-Revo, they aren't bad and do get some "flex" (unlike a Hummer/HUMVEE). My biggest problem was only having 1 spool instead of two, then sticking it in the back. I should have stuck it in the front so the front tires could drag the rest of the truck through the obstacles. I'm going to try again if I ever get that second spool in off back order:smsoap:
Here's a couple pictures of it on an ammo box, one of the box itself, and one of my solid axle rigs flexing on it.
