trails around Paxton, MA

I am going to be going to school in Paxton, MA this fall. Everytime I've gone to visit the college I see some jeeps and trucks with mud on them and its a pretty rural area so I figure theres gotta be some trails up around there. So anyone know of any legal trails around there?

paxton?? is that on the north shore? i cant seem to find it on a map...

about 20 minutes NW of Worcestor. If you follow Rt.9 from boston to the west then take 122 and that goes right through paxton.
