I am looking to trade my MJ for another XJ. 89 long bed, 5 speed.
The good
5.5'' lift made up of what looks like Rubicon front springs and some kind of aftermarket control arms. I built the rear springs from a combo of XJ lift springs and the MJ springs.
33'' Cooper MT's with alot of tread
29 spline 8.25 rear axle with new Yukon 4.56 gears
Dana 30 front axle. TNT truss, chromoly axle shafts, OX locker. I have had a ton of issues with the locker over the years. New rotors and pads. Over the knuckle 1 ton steering. 4.56 gears about 5-6 years old.
I was told the engine is a 4.7 stroker, it runs good but I have'nt verified if it really is.
New carpet, bucket seats from a newer XJ, center console from an XJ.
New radiator converted to open system and all hoses replaced.
Reman steering gear and hoses replaced
Exhaust header replaced, new muffler and tailpipe.
Doors from a 96 XJ, manual windows
Custom front bumper my Dad and I built.
CD player and new Sony speakers, nothing fancy but it works.
The bad or needs attention
Valve cover gasket leaks like mad.
Trans and tcase leak like mad. T case is noisy. I have another BA10 and Tcase that will go with the truck.
Windshield is broken
It will need a cat converter to pass emissions, didn't have one when I got it.
The track bar needs attention. New bushings at least.
It could use a steering stabilizer
Ignition cylinder is messed up, don't need a key to start it. I think it was a column from an auto trans vehicle.
No door keys
Interior is a mix of colors.
Rear bumper is kind of hack fab, came with the truck when I got it.
I have an assortment of parts I can throw in to make a deal work. I am looking for a XJ with the HO 4.0 and AW4, but will look at all offers.
I would sell it for $3,000 firm.
