I know this may be a long shot, but I am looking to use my rig more as a daily driver soon and want to trade my (5) 32" BFG M/T's for 32"/33" BFG A/T's or 33" Goodyear Duratracs. (similar tread depth and wear)
I have had these installed on my rig for about 2 years but have only seen about 4000 miles. 18/32nds on (3), 19/32nds on (1), 20/32nds on (1). These are 20/32nds when brand new...I just moved the fifth into rotation a month ago. These are all worn even and not chunked...I have been working on the truck slowly since the boys were born, so they have only been wheeled lightly a couple times. (Bill Moore Lake, Slaughterhouse, those type of flavors)
I will try to take pictures tomorrow sometime, but the pics will show as I describe. No surprises. 3 of the 5 still have hairs on the sidewall. These are the old style M/T's by the way.
I want less rolling resistance and a quieter tire...although my exhaust will silence these...any opinions on a quieter muffler!! (I have a Gibson). Thanks
