Toter home build

Been out working on the 110 stuff, got the breaker box mounted and all my 110 wires run into it now. Also got my 110 hookup mounted and the wire for it run into the breaker box, now I just have to remember how to hook it all up, having brain farts this morning I guess. Trying to decide what I want to work on next once I finish off the 110. Half tempted to try and get the AC up on the roof and mounted, just not sure if I can get it up there by myself.

Great work so far.Lots of nice detail in this. On that AC, if it is still in a box you can tie it up with a rope and slide it up a ladder from the side.Thats how i did mine on a 5th wheel by myself.I use a work ladder i had here an it just slid right on up.

Good luck and i'll keep my eye on this.Again Great job sir.

It is one I salvaged off the motorhome a guy was parting out, I am gonna wait till I can get a buddy to come help, I would hate to drop it and have to get another one, got the breaker box all hooked up and working now, just gotta pick up a couple more breakers and I can finish hooking everything up. I am just trying to knock out all the little stuff until I can go pick up the materials to finish out the rear bunk

made the trip and picked up my fuel tank this morning, it still has the stock fuel pump in it so setting up the transfer is gonna be easier than I had hoped. Weather is lousy today so I have not bothered to do anything on the camper at all. I have to run out towards Lowes tomorrow so I am gonna pick up everything I need to complete the plumbing and furnace. Ac is gonna have to wait for the weather to clear up before I start cutting holes in the roof. At least I had time to start another pot of Chile this morning. It's been simmering all day. Yum yum

Still going on this or did Sandy get you?

storm was not real bad but it got really cold out there so I am taking a break in hopes the warm weather comes back, otherwise my first priority will be getting the furnace up and working, went ahead and got my vents ordered for it and still need to pick up a thermostate and it will be functional. I am off work Sunday so I will probably go back at it then

Got my steps on now, just gotta pick up a little more hardware to finish bolting it up solid, It worked out perfect and leaves me plenty of room to mount my second fuel tank in front of them

electric or manual?

I've got a set of electric steps, I'm not sure how they're going to work with the ambulance body.
I planed on wiring them to the ignition so they extended when you turned off the ignition and retracted when you started the junk, with an override switch near the door.

most I have seen are wired into a door switch, you open door, they deploy, close door they retract.

wiring a door switch into an ambulance door is more trouble than I want. easier to wire them to the ignition. If it's switched off the steps can be out.

also, when drunken at winterfest I'm not sure my wife will remember about the steps extending when she opens the door. It could be entertaining, but probably doesn't end well for me.

Agree. You don't want to ever forget. Most are wired like that.

looking good richard. Steps turned out pretty well. I bet they make it a whole lot easier to get in and out of. It's a jump to the side door/.
