to buy or not to buy (flat bed trailer)

I found this trailer up north here for $500. Its a home built and the guy claims to have hauled cars on it before. It has no lights, no breaks, no jack, and no ramps on the rear for loading. It also has no center just the side fenders for the tires to ride on. It also has a pintail (SP) hitch instead of a ball. Would this be a good buy for a first time flat bed? It will be for the jeep only and maybe hay if my buddy needs some hauled to foco.

Definitely not worth anywhere close to $500.

Heck no, that trailer looks really heavy. $500 isn't really that bad, but the work it would take to make it tow worthy is not worth it.

that thing looks rigged like a mfer. glad too see that you didnt buy it. it would work for someone... but probably not for what any of us would want to do with it.
