TNT Y-link = Owned UCA Bushings

Really, you've gone through 2 sets with dropbrackets in a year? Something must be off, I've had mine on for 2 years and haven't touched the bushings. Is everything lined up correctly, arms adjusted properly?

I guess I worded this wrong, this will be set #2 in one year. My arms are not adjustable and everything looks fine and the alignment checks out perfect. Only way I can tell they are bad is when backing up and putting on the brakes the axle moves and thumps around. That and you can see the rubber hanging out from the bushing lol.

I just got back from the parts store. I checked the XJ bushings against the ZJ bushings. The ZJ has a smaller tube to fit the bolt better where the XJ one is a larger opening with the knurls or bumps to locate the bolt. I picked up the ZJ ones and will see how they do. These are MOOG parts.

Well, it wasn't my bushings, the rubber I thought was hanging out was a piece of algie from the last water crossing I did lol. However the body side bushing on my UCAs are shot, they are rather new. I converter them to the hourglass stye RE bushings last summer. They are absolutly trashed, about 1 inch of movement for and aft. I think I will shitcan them and get some of the rough country adjustable uppers with the hard joint on the body side.

Sure enough, the Canuck version of the site that Cal posted doesn't carry the part either.

Beakie, have you pursued this?

Root, I ordered a set of the WJ ones today from NAPA. I pick them up tomorrow and will have to check to see which part # the guy used, I gave him both
WJ 99-04 52088214 &
Moog K3166
but never thought to ask which set he had in the warehouse.

I know you got yours already, but thought I'd let ya know either way.

My NAPA guy was not able to do anything with those numbers. <shrug />
