Tieing sliders to the frame with Currie stiffeners?

I'm getting ready to build my sliders, no biggie there but I can't decide what is the best way to tie into the frame with the Currie frame stiffeners that I have in place now?

Any body else done it?

Any ideas?

I cant decide to go over or under the tubing that the stiffeners are made of. Bolting the frame side will be impossible unless I bolt to the underside of the frame(rather not do that) so welding is about my only option.

if you have the sliders you really dont need them they basically do the same thing but if u can figure out a way to have both tell me because i have the currie frame things laying around but have sliders

Well I plan on needing the sliders due to the fact that the Currie stiffeners do nothing to protect the under side of the doors, only strengthen the frame(which they do well). However, if I had it to do over I would get the Detours sliders/stiffeners.

I'd like to have another set of the Curries for my DD though, wanna sell?

what are the detours sliders/stiffeners. Google gave me nothing on that one. can you really tell that much of a difference with the Currie stiffeners or is it more of a seat of the pants "i think its way better" type thing?

Detours sliders/stiffenershttp://www.detoursusa.com/xjrokslyders.php

I do not have as much creeking in the body under flex, doors open shut as normal while at full flex. Strengthening the frame is never a bad idea no matter what type of a vehicle it is.

Back on topic, here are some pics of the stiffeners(drivers side)and how much or little frame I have showing to tie into.

Don't laugh too hard at my "bubblegum welds" they were some of my first and welding above my head and on my back, not very good!

The frame tie-ins on the stiffeners will be removed and the braces for the sliders will replace them. I just don't know wheather to go over or under the stiffeners?
