Thinking about buyin an FC - what do you think?

I wouldn't mind having an FC for novelty value - but I'd really like to have the 6WD FC-170 (which is, I'm certain, super rare. But the looks I'd get would be fun!)

I found another 170 today sitting in a field. Its a realitive of my wife who owns the place. It looks pretty clean but it hasn't been licenced since 1972. A year before I was born.

well the time has come to make a decision, he sold the cj-5 and cj3a today

he hinted he wanted them out of his barn...

and that they would not last long...

and he needed the space for his new front loader...

I think I might be coming home with two FC jeeps soon... both 150's one '59 one unknown... but I'll have to find a place to store them untill i can work on them... and try REALLY hard not to buy any mroe jeeps...

BUY THEM! If you can get them for a good price.

Also, storage? A blue tarp covering an FC in the side yard will help reduce your property taxes and those of your neighbors. They should thank you for such a good deed.

The 170s aren't bad. The 150s are scarry as hell. I've heard that with good brakes and lots of traction they will do endos.

From what I recall the 150s were just dropped onto an early CJ5 frame. Makes for an interesting driving experiance.

I'd love to have one of those just for the fugly factor. I bet HOlly wouldn't even kill me if I stored it out in the desert!
