Last year we finally decided to get my wife into an xj. We searched around quite a bit before deciding on this one. I couldn't find any pictures of when we first bought it, these first pictures are after a few stickers and some 235/75/15's were added on some older style rims.
Here are the stock specs: 98xj/4.0-AW4-231 with 210,000 on the clock and running great. We picked the jeep up for $1300.00 with all service records for the life of the jeep. Well maintained for sure, has very minimal rust, and has minor hail damage.
Now on to some minor mods. I decided to go with 4.5" lift on fixed short arms which consisted of 4.5" RE coils up front with 3" lifted leaf packs along with a 2" shackle. I had purchased 33"x9.5"/15" BFG AT's but just didn't like it for her and daily driving so I went with brand new 31" BFG AT's
Some pics of the rear lift install.
A picture with the front finished.
I installed some JCR Off Road stage 1 sliders, front hitch, RC adjustable trac bar, RE twin tube shocks in the rear with RC front shocks, and took some pictures.
