See, I originally thought that they were going with some epidemic story line but they put a lot of emphasis on the dead pig, the dead deer in the woods, the fact that Daryl brought back the deer for everyone to eat. Then the kid who mentioned eating the deer drops dead.

Those were the things that led me to believe the virus was affecting the animals.

This is what we initially thought to, until we remembered that Rick pulled that Colt 1911 out of the earth under the crop garden. If there are dropped pistols, it's conceiveable that there are (un)dead bodies under that ground too.

I assumed the pistol had been there since before all this started. Some inmate had buried it there. Idk.

So who do you think has been putting the rats at the perimeter gate - the kids or the Governor? It would be a pretty ingenious plan on his part; use the zombies to break down the barriers for him, since he mowed down all of his people from last season.

I still have trouble believing it's an interspecies flu-like virus that's causing all of this. If not the Governor, I thinking someone on the outside is messing with them, or there's something underneath that soil.

They seem to really spend a bit too much time on the worms in the soil/pig food I think those worms.ate walkers then infected the pigs or others

Ya I think its the girl naming them , the one thats sort of messed up. I really wish they would consolidate all of the BS on the show . It can move so slow sometimes. That being said, I still love it.
