The perpetual Pick-n-Pull thread

i think 3.73? maybe with optional 4.11's?

Do you happen to know what the most common gear ratios are?
Thanks!
Billy

3.73 & 4.10's are on the more common 4.0 V6 models and higher (lower numerical) on most of the V8's. If you are looking to avoid re-gearing you can usually score a 4.10 Limited slip out of Stockton for $250. Check car-part.com and do a search... that'll also give you a list of ratios. Look for 98 and newer because you can do the Super 88 kit on those.

At the pnp in hayward there is a ford hp d44 with weld on wedges.

picknpull on sunrise yesterday had two zj tie rods.

one lifted cherokee with lcas missing but it was a 2-3" lift with shocks and leaves, it has some discos and bumpstops

Yeah man. My power steering pump is shot. I'm trying to decide if I want to rebuild mine or pick up a Durango box to rebuild. If you could keep an eye out, I would appreciate it!

Since the p=n=p's are all about an hour drive from me I don't get around to them much. So if anyone happens to see a disc-disc GC that still has a porportioning valve attached, please give me a heads up. I'll even offer up a sixer of your choice for the help :D Thanks.

Damn... one day earlier and I sooooo would have grabbed one for you today! It would have made it seem like it wasn't a wasted trip too since they didn't have what I needed!
Billy

Story of my life, "day late and a dollar short". It's the last thing I need before I pull out the ABS crap and do the rear end swap. Sooner or later I'll get this project done and I'll be able to play again.

Anybody been to any of the p-n-p's lately and noticed a GC with 4-wheel disc's that might still have the porportioning valve still attached? I'm still tryin to find one that will hopefully be cheaper than the $50 the local yard wants. To anyone who might look, thanks. And the offer still stands for the sixer of your choice for the help (as long as your old enough to drink).

There's two comanche's at the newark pnp.

I got the shackles off of one, but theres still some on the other.

I didn't see any zj's with disks.

Thanks. A little far for me to drive tho. But Thanks anyway.

Rob D - still looking for that proportioning valve? I'm thinking of heading to the p-n-p in Sacramento tomorrow. I'll keep on an eye out. Anyone been there lately? Just wondering if I'll have any luck finding an xj gas tank skid, a zj tie rod and maybe mj shackles.
