The Official CraigsList Thread...

lots of tread my ass that thing is almost bald in the middle lol
i love it when people try and sell tires they normally would have to pay to dispose of. people buy them though.... i had a guy happy as hell to pay 10 bucks for a bald tire.

not on CL, but this is a friend of mine posting on EXPO...it's a XJ!

description (clink link above for pics):

This was a project Jeep that I never finished. It has been garaged for years and I need to sell. Location: West Los Angeles, CA

It is a 1992 XJ with 59,XXX original miles (I can get an exact number but it is garaged at a different location). I had it tuned up before storing so with a new battery it should start right up. I also had it prepped for paint but now there is some surface rust. I believe I have most all parts but it needs to be put back together.

I originally paid over 7k for the Jeep and over 2k for the following which is all I added to the stock Jeep:
Full Roll Cage
Custom Rock Rails
Custom Front bumper with location for winch
Custom Rear bumper with tire carrier

It needs:
Tires
Paint
Interior needs to be put back in (I removed alot of the parts prior to having the cage welded in so things like dash trim, door panels and carpet didn't get burned).

I am asking $1975 for it or trade for something else such as new Espar Heater, camera equipment, firearms, ATV, Waverunner, Beer

PM me with any questions or to see it.

Here are a few photos that are close ups. It is stored in a very tight garage so I couldn't get any overall pictures but will try to this weekend if anyone is seriously interested (or PM me and I can show you anytime):

Holy crap! I know its very clean and low mileage, but $4500 for an 89??

Yeah I agree to much money. Im sure it will sit on the market for awhile... but someone will give him an offer that he will eventually take. $2000-2500?

Oh wow... maybe. Or they found out that they wouldn't get what they are asking for.

That's not XJ, shock brackets are wrong and the vent tube is in the wrong place. It could be an Isuzu 44.
