Easiest way would be to measure the wms if it still has the drums. There was a few different b body width axles.

These are the wms's that would work. Gains me a little over the stock e body 61 5/8"

'65-'67= 59 1/2"
'68-'70= 60 1/8"

It is actually a 71, the previous owner put the wrong year stripe on it. I am gonna fix that.
383 with a 727. 4 or 5 spd to come with engine swap to a bigger big block maybe next winter.

Nice pick, Bill...Keep it simple and build the 383 to spin and slap a turbo on it. Big displacement is overrated.

Nothing happening propulsion wise for at least a year anyway. Got to save $$$.
