Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread aka North America Home Owners Association Thread

What are you doing Saturday?

Laying a tile floor and then maybe helping Anthony move his non-wheeling Jeep.
Sunday finish the floor.
You in for help?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread aka North America Home Owners Association Thread

Actually going up to Granite Gorge to watch the truck hill climbs. Would take the Jeep but no way of getting it there

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread aka North America Home Owners Association Thread

I think you should come lay tile with me instead

RUFFSTUFF stuff is here awesome

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread aka North America Home Owners Association Thread

I have a love/hate relationship with Zoro 30% off sales.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread aka North America Home Owners Association Thread

Also, which compressor did you buy during one of the recent ones? Thoughts so far on it?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread aka North America Home Owners Association Thread

What'd you get for this one?
A new US made t-slot set for my Bridgeport, a new miter saw blade, some loctite, and other misc small stuff. I thankfully did not spend a ton.

I paid a LOT less than that. When I got it it was on sale and combined a 30% off. It has been amazing. Very quiet, those that have heard it can attest. You can carry on a conversation at normal levels 5' from it. I have a 2x4 wall with rockwool sound batts in it and on the other side all you can hear is a faint hum. The only thing noticable is the pressure release purge when it stops but once I get a door on the room it is in that should stop most of that.

Nice.

Pat and I were talking about him getting a compressor the other day, but that's probably bigger than what he'd need. The M18 Fuel stuff takes away a lot of the need for air tools.

Oh it is a bigger unit than I need to but I paid just over 1/2 of what they are asking now for it so I could not pass that up. You can pay almost that for the single stage Chinese units at the box stores.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread aka North America Home Owners Association Thread

Yeah that compressor is definitely nice and you got an insane deal on it Bill. Hard to pass that up.

Fortunately I scored an old single-stage unit for $25 when I moved in that I had to put back together and refill with oil. Threw a v-belt on that I had laying around and it's been working great.

Might go check out a '12 WK2 on Saturday with ~16k miles on it. See what the dealer comes back with for an offer.

3.6L or 5.7L?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread aka North America Home Owners Association Thread

get a 3.6L laredo and then swap all the body panels and badges to make it look like an SRT8 that way the show/hp ration will be similar to your MJ
