THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread aka North America Home Owners Association Thread

At risk of sounding like an old geezer; the roads this year are the worst I've seen them as far as potholes. They are a mess. Interesting though that once you leave MA state lines they seem to get much better overall, not great but better.

I'm late to the party, but I agree. I blew a 2 month old tire after hitting a pothole in the Honda. When I called to get some info to submit my claim to be reimbursed the $300 bill, the lady was like "You can try, but there has been so much of that this year you probably won't get it."

The road I work on was literally missing part of it. It wasn't a pothole, just a straight rectangular potion about 6 feet long just gone down to sand.

I missed this post before, but Bill clearly hasn't been driving in RI lately. RI roads make MA roads look like the yellow brick road.

You have a $300 tire on a Honda? Such race, much fast.

$200 tire with mounting and balancing, plus $90 alignment

Damn that's what they cost for my truck.

Yep, tires were not cheap for that thing. They are the OEM Michelin tires, and that is the "performance" car so it used the top of the line.

Anthony you must not have driven on any streets in Boston in the last few months then.

The rear summer tires on mine (Conti Extreme Contact DWS) in 255/35ZR18 are $180 each on tire rack right now. Over $200 for a tire on a Civic is insane.

And I agree, Boston is the worst out of anywhere I've been in New England, NY, or NJ in the past two months. Some of the side roads in Brighton that were bad in the summer are destroyed right now.
