THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread aka North America Home Owners Association Thread

i dont think people were complaining about nacfest/rocktoberfest for being unorganized or at least not what i remember was posted publicly, aside from the camping reservation which was more the camp grounds fault than ours, but the problem with fall crawl is it is more complex to manage than our events (i.e. trails and more people) and in the past it was relatively well run but people bitched about how shitty i was run so all the people organizing it left and anyone with half a brain said they didn't wan to deal with that shit and the people with less than half a brain took over and now we have what we have

2 years ago i did swanzy and they had us park the trailers in at the makeshift firing range it was tight abut they were able to get everyone parked there

Tammy from DWE use to take care of the sign ups but they decided to shit her out, its when things started to go to shit.

receptionist just said a 3' x 1' x 1" thick box just came that weighs 40lbs. I'm going to guess that my bumper kit has arrived, and that dirtbound is really good at packaging stuff lol

[sarcasm]
So did you guys know that if you buy gas at a place it gives you the right to park your truck and trailer there all day and the owner of said store should be grateful you chose his/her place to park, disrupt business all day and take up his/her space but; Hey you bought fuel so you are entitled!
[/sarcasm]

I can not believe what is coming out in that thread...
I can understand asking permission, but assuming the above? I mean really?

Hey nerds, my power supply for my Asus laptop seems to be working only after it hasn't been plugged in for a while, any thoughts? Do these things just die or is this a sign that it's on it's way out? Laptop is 4 years old or so and I leave the power supply plugged in almost all the time, whether or not it's hooked to the lappytoppy.

buy a new one from amazon/ebay. 4-5 years is average for one. also, don't leave it plugged in.. lol

Also, how the hell do I figure out what size plug it is? It's an Asus K50I or K501?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread aka North America Home Owners Association Thread

I had to solder a new power jack on Kate's Asus laptop the other night. That was annoying as ****.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread aka North America Home Owners Association Thread

So Lauren is going to need a new car soon. We wanted something smallish, awd, and fuel efficient. So I told her to get a Suzuki sx4. Finally talk her into liking it. And it turns out Suzuki auto pulled out of the us about a year ago. So its back to the drawing board. She wants a Honda crv. But idk I just don't like it. And its not really all that cheap.

Honda automatics in the CRV's are only so-so too.

Subaru Impreza, but don't plan on hanging on to it forever so you don't have to deal with head gasket BS?

What's the price range?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread aka North America Home Owners Association Thread

Less than 20k. More like 17-18k. And she's going to want to go new. Subies are probably out of our price range.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread aka North America Home Owners Association Thread

the SX4 was a great car too. if you are looking new, want a car for life, and want to stay under $30k, rav4 all the way if you want a small suv.

edit: at that price range i'd keep looking at used jap-o-mo-biles.

I know! I was so bummed. The kizzashishieieiey was supposed to be very good as well..

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread aka North America Home Owners Association Thread

Why new? Let someone else take the depreciation hit for driving it off the lot. I'd bet you can get a year old Impreza (CBS, not OBS) for under 17k easy.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread aka North America Home Owners Association Thread

Maybe we can find a still new leftover sx4. I'll have to shop around. The fit hits all the marks except awd.
