My phone is costing me money. It randomly looses the speaker and I miss wrecker calls.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I think the front diff in the Dirtymax is heading south. Lately the truck has been making a bearing type growl at slower speeds and while coming to a stop. Checked out the front end outers and stuff, everything looked good. Drained the front diff, came out brownish and shitty looking. Drain plug didnt have any chunks but alot of magnetic sludge on it. Put some fresh 75w-90 in it, seems to maybe have shut it up a little but its still making noise. I really dont wanna have to do bearings in it and I really dont wanna have to tear that whole damn IFS apart to get to it. I dont have the time to do it either, might have to send it to the dealer if it keeps getting worse.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Toss a junkyard diff in it, they come out easy enough

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

What ratio?

Are you sure its not the rear ccarrier bearing?

How close are the tires to the leaf springs?
Around a half inch or so of clearance  Im just going to leave it for now Im going to mini mans wheels or if my friend junks his ranger im stealing the spacers off it.

Pretty sure the tranny on my truck is heading south. Takes like 4 tries sometimes to get it into first, and its very hard to go in at times. Also, sometimes at a stop in first or reverse if I hold the clutch in the truck won't move.

FYI, the stock fluid GM uses up front is a brown-tan like color. Nothing to worry about there. Do some searching and you'll see it is very common.

Hmmm. is it supposed to smell like poopy and have the consistency of water too? my drain pan isnt the cleanest, but it was brown with silver all in it.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Doesn't that truck have like 200k+ miles on it? I wouldn't be surprised if the oil had a bunch of shit in it and sucked. Did you guys ever change it?
