the only fluid i didnt change in my stepdad's XJ when he got it was the tcase fluid bc its a PITA to refill. low and behold like 6 months later it exploded... and there wasnt any fluid in it lol

xj t-case fluid is a pita to refill?

10mm allen or 30mm hex? Shit, even I own both of those.

(it's 10mm, if you like rounding it out if it's at all seized, it's 3/8)

My AW-4 keeps getting fresh ATF like once a week so i'm not worried about changing its oil... has anyone ever fixed a "Torque Converter Clutch Solenoid Circuit" engine code before?

With the number of trans related codes you are getting, you either are seeing some common failure point (grounds? TCU?) or your transmission is a pile of shit and near exploding.

That code (the circuit code) comes on if the TCU sees either a short or an open in the wiring for that solenoid, so either it's open (or the ground is bad and it's not drawing any current due to that) or it's shorted, or maybe you made the mistake of turning the jeep on with the trans wiring unplugged?

I love my harbor freight squeeze-bulb transfer pump for filling transfer cases, but it sucks for gear lube. Somewhere around here I have one of those rotary pumps for doing diff lube, picked it up when I had to put 10 gallons of gl5 into the 5 ton's diffs.

I don't remember if it was 3/8 or 10. been a while. I just assumed since they were made in America they would be blah blah blah..... doesn't matter.....

Yeah sorry about that. This past week has been a blur trying to stay organized so I can get everything done and make use of all my free time.

This week is the same situation. Work is getting busier by the day and I have to try to leave on time to get everything done for Saturday.

So what's left to do? As long as Doosun gets the days off I think I'm still going. Have to make sure I've got the money but that's it.

I'm starting to think it may be something like the TCU.

anybody going to the cruise night at bass pro this thursday? I plan on taking black jeep up there.

Maybe if I leave work late. Is there anything to look at around 4:30 or does everyone show up later?

I'm thinking about getting a new cell phone this summer. Something that can take and send pictures of my dick to Bob more efficiently. What do you guys recommend for that specific purpose?
