since you arent planning on keeping the axle, here's what i would do.

bolt everything back together, throw the carrier in there. spin the ring gear by hand and make sure its getting full contact to the pinion. based on the pics you MIGHT get away with this. if it checks out i'd just slap it together and run it and hope it lasts a couple months

I'm not opening it. But why do we have a 4-page discussion going on tire choices?

Why? Because every person is gunna suggest a different brand.

I think round ones would be the best.

Brown Dog Super Block Brackets installed. That was.....fun. Having a lack of inner fenders and the front axle dropped out on stands helped. Having motor mounts tied into the engine cage made it a little tricky though. All in all, under 4hrs start to finish I cant complain.

I hope it doesn't take me that long

After looking at when I got call before I started, it was more like 3hrs. Wasnt too bad, I was worried it was gunna be more of a bitch with everything in the way. Probably take a little longer on your jeep since you still have all the factory stuff in there. I have nothing in the way where the battery/PDC used to be. I also had to remove the alternator to get the front bolts in on the PS bracket.
