I had thornbirds briefly. Went "mudding" with them a couple times. I loved how shitty they were. I want to be that asshole sliding around the trail, going nowhere just making a lot of noise in his big dumb truck on undersized thornbirds. You know, until my fuel pump sucks down a leaf and Ken has drive over my dad's foot.

agree, if they aren't total shitpile 60s, getting a good price on 60s is never a bad thing.

I sold a dodge balljoint front 60 for $70 a while ago and thought it was a great deal for me because I didn't have to drive it to the scrapyard and unload it myself for only $50, for instance.

He's been fine. I think he was supposed to keep going to the doctor but he stopped going like immediately. He had been acting like it was nothing since the next day after it happened.

yea those tires are to the wear bars. I have like 5/8 of an inch of rubber before my iroks show the were bars.

but with swampers you can just hitt them with a chainsaw and take another 1/4" out of them and make them look brand new.

i wouldn't even pay $100 for claws in that condition...

and sorry i can't see 3" axle tubes bending under 2-3,000 lbs/axle - at least not enough to make a difference in camber at the knuckles, especially with how close the springs mount to the wheels.

Are you talking about that cut up axle?
It isn't the tubes bend that is the problem. It is that tube "disconnecting" from the housing that is the issue.

My two trailer axles go from bowed to straight with probably 7-8k lbs on them and they are very close to D60 sized tubes.

They're also wider than a truck axle and all tube with no diff.

Like I said I understand what some people think, but I've seen no evidence.

Why are you people thinking the tubes are bending? Its more the nylon bushing on the upper kingpin deflecting, or lack thereof, thats causing the camber differences.
