I'll let my dad know tomorrow morning and let you know what he says. He can pull the ad for you, but it would be best to get it as soon as possible. Part of the reason for lowering the price is to have you come get it off his hands.

Yep, understood. Dad went to sleep a few hours ago, i talked to my mom, talk to him after work tomorrow and get the money Tuesday. No reason i wouldn't be able to go down tuesdy later in the day to get it. Let me know if thats ok, if not ill do what i need to to figure something out...

How late would you be if you came tuesday? He usually leaves around 4:30. Not sure how you plan on picking it up either. Like I said, could be fine to drive home, might need something to get you there. Front brakes, the coil spring, the valve cover gasket, that tire, all small shit on it's own but adds up and I haven't driven it far yet.

A bit late to this conversation, but they sound like every other bus out there. If you saw some of the ones we tow, you would never ride one.

Not sure just yet. I guess I'd do what I could to be there before 4:30... I wouldn't mind bringing a gasket and doing that there, then taking back roads home driving like a bitch. I guess don't have him take down the ad- if I can't get to it in time, I'll find something else but if I can I'd like to grab that- I'm sure it's the best deal I'll be able to find, it's just a matter of getting the money/schedule etc taken care of.

At around 5 taking the highway would be slower than backroads. The two big things are the front brakes and the gasket I'd say. Not sure exactly how bad the front brakes are, I didn't take the wheels off to look but there's a box of new pads in the back seat and a good vibrating pedal when I stomp the brakes. I won't say it won't be able to make it back, but won't tell you it will either. If you had found out, say friday, I would have checked for you. Just bad timing. I'd call my dad tomorrow if you can, you are after all setting up something with him, not me.

Tomorrow I'd be able to hang around but Tuesday I won't be at the shop at all. Again, If you can call him tomorrow it would make things easier.

alright I'll do that. just the number thats on CL right? I'll call my dad at work tomorrow, see if i can get money then. maybe if i'm lucky i can get some money tomorrow and get a ride down as early as i can or something. do the gasket, throw in new pads and say lets ****in rock this thing. wanna PM me the address so i can get a better idea of where it's at and stuff?

Sooner is better, who knows you might be able to get away with just tightening the valve cover bolts. The rotors figure have a good chance of needing to be turned. I'd do it for you but wouldn't be there till later.

I don't ride buses. I have my own horribly maintained barely-running piles of junk to drag me around, at least I (mostly) know what is wrong with them.

its like. ttb steering, with a solid axle.

Maybe trucks came like that way back in the day though and the fact that the suspension didn't move anyway made it ok and the toe wouldnt bounce in and out like a mofo.
