In both picture sets the first photo, to me, shows that the pinion is too deep with the distinct line near the root and the large radius a ways off the tip.

I see what you mean now, maybe tomorrow morning I'll pull a few thousandths out of it and run it again.

I'm borderline about ****ing with it, I really don't want to **** myself and end up making a few hours more work. If it was the rear end that was driving all the time I'd be a little more concerned. Meh, we'll see how motivated I am in the morning.

Just remember to put oil in them and it will be fine
