If money was no object, 6.4 crate hemi.

If I build a buggy in the future, I'd probably still use a 440.

Mostly because I can get retarded power relatively cheap.

For those of you more experienced with Dana axles, does this look right to you? It seems like the ring gear is hanging awfully far over the hole for the crosspin. I knew I would have to 'massage' the ring gear a little, but this looks like I'll have to take almost half of two teeth off. I took the measurements, and it is a 3.93 and up carrier, and I didn't order thick cut gears.

Assemble the diff before the ring gear goes on.

No dude, dont listen to colin, just chop off 2 ring gear teeth. Its no big deal really, there are always like 3 to 6 teeth always in contact anyway, it will be fine if a couple are completely missing.

I never listen to Colon. I was being retarded and thinking the cross pin had to go in last, forgetting it there aren't any c-clips to worry about.:dunce:


Finally got a decent pattern after 5 or 6 tries.
