As long as it's two layer or less that should work - I'd strongly recommend replacing the connector, you never know what's going to be charred or melted under it on the other side. I would suggest using a dremel to butcher the connector about 50 thousandths off the surface of the board, then remove the remainder with your best wire cutters and use a solder-sucker to remove each pin and the solder from the holes... desoldering a 37 pin connector like that without damaging the board can be a real bitch since it's got plated through holes on the PCB.I could probably just solder a wire to the DB37 pin instead of using the conductor on the board where it burnt (looks like it was just the one conductor for the injectors) and clean it up. Just replace the driver and possibly transistors and it should be good?
Worst case is just send it back as warranty at this point, if they'll even take it.
