Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Found 2 12' lengths and 2 1' lengths of unused 4 gauge cable at work, will this be thick enough for aftermarket fogs?

Got any thick cords there? I need to make an extension cord for my welder.

you should send me some of that so I can redo my battery cables

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

i just had to make a pinion yoke glow orange and use an air hammer to get it off.

never had one that stuck before.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I've had the nut take upward of 800 foot pounds (me hauling up as hard as I could on a breaker bar with a 4 foot cheater pipe) without breaking loose, but never had the yoke itself be stuck.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

how many months in a row has nac won rotm?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Yep. Colin should enter next month to ensure a NAC win for a solid half of the year

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I just dropped the belly pan on black jeep. gear oil, tranny fluid, and water poured out everywhere. totally forgot the aw4 pan is smashed in. ugh, ill worry about it later. theres a ton of tgings that need attention that will just have to wait.

Just this stuff. I got a stinger cord for one of the trucks that has a bad wire in it somewhere but I assume that's all small gauge stuff.

Did I see you headed from where the Target is in Stoughton today around 415?

Probably, was there an asian chick with me? If yes, then definitely as I'm sure I was the only red haired kid driving a red jeep cherokee with an asian chick passing target around 4pm.

It's sad that this is probably a legit question considering your electrical mishaps in the past.

DOUBLE DATE!

Ken, if I can hook you up with an interview/job, can you promise to dress like a normal person and not act insane? There's a position open through my girlfriends recruiting company for a full time electrical engineer, 50-60k salary to start and that's all I know.

It's been my experience that a certain amount of deviance from normalcy is required to get an engineering job. :anon:

define normal person.

If you mean non-stained jeans, a non-stained shirt, and not yelling and cursing all the time, I can do that. In fact I generally did at my last respectable office job and was perfectly happy.

It's the "act insane" part that worries me. I promise I won't work on my jeep in their parking lot or anything.

Where is the position located? What kind of work do they need, if you know? I mostly do embedded systems stuff, PCB design, firmware, microcontrollers, etc, with what I'd consider an amateur level understanding of RF design (antennas, amplifiers, filters) and analog electronics. The last thing I want is to make a friend look bad by turning out to be a bad fit for the position.
