Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

its probly not a good thing when a mouse trap goes missing is it?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Probably, was there an asian chick with me? If yes, then definitely as I'm sure I was the only red haired kid driving a red jeep cherokee with an asian chick passing target around 4pm.

Sure? Looked like your XJ at least. Next time I'll hit you head on.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

The old carb was definitely choking this thing out.

Pulls way ****ing harder.

I want a cool big block. I prefer it when she pulls harder.

Think the tbi 454's are worth a shit? not in 100% stock form obviously. Im sure i can get a complete truck for the price of a 6.0 and harness. and be cooler.

one of them 496 (i think) vortecs from the one coil per cylinder days would be pretty sweet i bet too.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

You need to bring it to wethersfield? That sucks.
You must have found the 1 cop in the area that gives a shit about tire coverage. I have never been bothered, and mine stick out a lot farther than yours.

D bag Putnam town cop at 830 in the am. I've been driving like that for years with no issues

I don't know shit about chevys. I'd be willing to bet TBI 454s suck dick.

did some reading. they pretty much suck.

the 496 is just for pulling stumps out of the ground too.

should probably just stick with a cammed and tuned 6.0 as the plan

tried googling it, i have no idea what any of it means. most comments i see are "yea, thats normal, i wouldnt worry about it" I don't like using paypal for large transactions anyway.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Basically, it forces users to act on their own if they ever wanted to go against PayPal/eBay for anything, no class actions. Netflix just did this too. They are making the opt out procedure hard (snail mail), cause they can. Now I don't ever plan on sueing them but this whole opt-in automatically unless we hear back from you in writing by mail in 30 days doesn't sit well with me.

Pretty much how I feel.

Sadly, I'm also not terribly surprised. It's a sly little trick that will undoubtedly screw many, many users.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

didnt hear that, damn. i guess i'll be using paypal with more caution. as far as netflix, i dont see why i would have any reason to take them to court... lol

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I only use paypal when I absolutely have to. I already hate them with a passion, they have screwed me in the past and a few of my friends as well, and insist on constantly trying to push credit cards and shit down my throat.

Also, Sam, $400 5.3 and strap some dumb shit to it. http://www.hotrod.com/techarticles/hrdp_1109_stock_gm_ls_engine_big_bang_theory/

Cliff notes: They made over 1200hp with 26psi of boost, stock bottom end, over 60 dyno pulls, many back to back and a majority over 1000hp. It didn't really do anything to the motor, just had an ignition system failure.

Then they pulled it apart to find out what, if anything, was damaged and discovered that it was a 4.8, not a 5.3. Over 4hp/ci

I think a stock bottom end 5.3 would live goddamn near forever at 500hp or below. I'm pulling that completely out of my ass, but it survived 1000+hp for quite a few pulls...

Also, if you need a hand with wiring let me know, I live for that shit. I have a mopar magnum 3.9 v6 swap into a 91 toyota pickup coming up soon but that's about it aside from job hunting and fixing the house. Last swap was Billy's old 4.0 into an 87 YJ with a carb and after replacing a single fuse it fired right up with the custom spliced harness I threw together for it.
