got my charges all straightened out yesterday, guilty failure to keep right, unsecured load, driving negligently. 60 day loss of license, 6 months probation, and a shit ton of fines. Ill take it.

Did you cut the stub off, cut the tube down, then reweld? Did you check runout?

I bet if you cut two stock XJ front shafts in the tube (leave the ends welded) and slug it with some 1.75x.120 wall DOM you'd have a pretty straight driveshaft.

Worst case is you pay hundreds less to just have them balance a shaft instead of building one.

yeah same incident, finally getting sorted out now. not guilty on OUI. That was the charge i was really concerned about (felony) driving neg is only a criminal misdemeanor. which isnt good but better then the other. failure to keep right is a moving violation and unsecured load is just a fine.

6 months supervised probation with random drug tests 207 a month and 60 days loss of license and a brains a risk class i need to take 50$, and i have to show the court my vehicle is inspected before june.

going to let this blow over for a couple of months then applying for my LTC.

i didnt think anyone in colins family worked on gay. but i could be wrong.

He did the porting, and gave me a hook up on the headwork with his good friend.

The guy is booked pretty solid, I doubt I could hook you up. Sorry dude.
