I bet if you cut two stock XJ front shafts in the tube (leave the ends welded) and slug it with some 1.75x.120 wall DOM you'd have a pretty straight driveshaft.

Worst case is you pay hundreds less to just have them balance a shaft instead of building one.

This. I've done three shafts this way, including the rear shaft in red jeep. They always stay true and I've never even balanced them and its been fine to triple dight speeds.

Colin, who did your head work? Your Uncle? Think he'd be interested in decking, and re lapping the valves on my TDI head?

There's a few machine shops around me that id highly recommend. Reid's in Whitman is where we dynoed and stuff the SBF for our stang, very nice place and very professional.

I can get you the name of a good diesel shop in Boston. They deal specifically with diesel engines.

My uncle was telling me about them on the way to getting the block machined.

Awesome Colin and Ross if you can get me the shops name that would be awesome. That way i can do some shopping around. I may have them ported a little bit, since I'm doing nozzles too.

I just couldn't help it I mean 300k on OEM nozzles I just had to replace them since there coming out anyway.

Looks like I'm getting almost $2k back from taxes. I'm thinking PSC setup and the rest in the bank. Anybody got any good PSC sales going on? Should I go direct or thru Poly or something?

I legit was just planning everything out last night and was finally gunna prereg today or tomorrow after work. Now I have an even better reason. What about pre ordering shirts too? What silly color did you pick this year?

I have not picked a color yet. It all depends on how the artwork comes out of Sam's Jeep for the back of the shirt.
