i'm overly emotional. and you went through 3 XJs in the time i went through one.
Minus 2 points for me because I left the assembly instructions on the shelf at Home Depot and had to figure out where all the bolts go and how to best distribute the 8.8-grade ones vs. the 4.8 grade ones. :|
Overall this thing is pretty nice though and I think it'll work out well.
odd, they must have changed that. Mine came with all the hardware needed.Minus 10 points on the Harbor Freight shop crane. The assembly pictures show the wheels coming already bolted onto the base, but they came separate in the box. Which means someone's BOM is screwed up and they don't give you hardware for bolting the wheels on.
Plus 5 points because the parts diagram shows the thread, length, and quantity of every bolt on the thing.
Minus 10 points because the Home Depot down the road didn't have 16 M8x1.25 x 12mm bolts in stock, they only had 8, at $0.50 each. The rest were thru-bolts with nuts anyway so I subbed in 5/16 bolts, also $0.50 each. So $8 in hardware later I could finally put the thing together.

I had my XJ for twice as long as you've been driving.
