I think after Nacfest I'm gunna pull the StaK. Its needs at least one yoke seal and is having trouble shifting the rear output. I think while I'm at it I'm gunna tear down the whole thing and drop in a replacement middle shaft from cncdude4 on PBB so I never have to worry about it popping outta gear. For the time being I'm just gunna keep pouring gear oil in it and make a simple sight glass thingy so I can easily keep an eye on the fluid level.

Can you actually buy those shafts from him?

I thought he required a certain number of buyers before he would build them.

Either way, that's probably a good idea.

I wonder how much I have into my doubler setup.

NP241 $100 + $20 for a new bearing/seal
NP205 $75 + $200 flanges + $40 worth of gaskets/seals/small parts
Doubler kit $550
Rear support mount $60

So $1,000 for a bombproof, 4 speed doubler setup. Works for me.

Peer pressure made me buy a StaK, airbumps, stickie treps, etc. I don't regret it.

because i dont know what its worth to somebody.

its one of a kind, and beat up pretty good. the bumper is straight with just rock rash, but the tire carrier has been bent and repaired, and the 1/4 guards have bulletholes and leftover flare material on them.

it can be cleaned up real nice however. if i had the time to make it perfect i would ask around $800 for the whole setup.

I do the same thing for the exact same reason. But I definitely did that to you yesterday. Just got your PM from last night, will respond shortly.

Joke will be on me when you are all driving over rocks the size of my house and I can't even get one tire up, but it's fun right now.

Edit: I have decided my "chassis table" will be built from 2x4s lag bolted together built onto my porch. I wonder how warped my frame will be... but it will get done fast.

I have $75 to the 99 in gift cards since I haven't gone in a while and accumulated them from Xmas and my birthday.

That means I can drink 37 bud selects.

And still not feel a buzz.

Speaking of doublers, anyone here looking for one?

That'll probably be one of the next things I get rid of. Pending taking it apart and making sure nothing is busted, probably be lookin at like $350 for the setup including the modified 231 case.
