THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

That depends on what the definition of wheeling is :dunno:

I got my POS stock XJ stuck in bradley's yard a few weekends ago and drove from MA to CT on old town roads on my way to NY this week :gee:

thats like me saying i wheeled my old 98 with mark and travis in swanzey last year, or the year before, or whenever that was

I think you did say that, not sure. But yeah it was pretty tame.

I'm theoretically going Sunday but probably won't have the MJ ready to drive outside of town yet, so it'll be a stock jeep again...

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

who wheels on here anymore

tell Carmelo to gimmie a sweet deal on his 35s and I'll wheel this winter :)

that was a while ago, that was green jeep!

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

they're hilarious in the snow. I've seen a buncha rigs with them in the snow and it's a JOKE. they make zero forward progress and DIG holes.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I thought my XJ suspension kit was expensive when I bought that.

Compared to what I just priced out for the car? Not so expensive.

Looks like I'll be slowly ordering parts over the next month or two :laugh3:

you think tsl's are any better? lol

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Just my personal experience, but the TSLs did a helluva lot better in any kind of deep snow. That's not to say they did "good", but the krawlers were god awful. Zero forward progress. I'm assuming because of the compound, but I really don't know :dunno:

I wouldn't really call that wheeling, I'd call that more of you driving on a dirt road up until the point I had to winch you and you almost rolled the '98 over haha.

(yes I know the point you were making was it wasn't actual wheeling)

that was a while ago, that was green jeep!
Nope, 1.5 years ago and you were in red Jeep.

I never wheeled with or saw the green jeep wheel.
(:D damn you Travis)

I loved my Toyo's in the snow. Bill was quite impressed with them in Sam's backyard last Chickenfest.

People look at you funny when you drive down the highway with the window all the way down with your arm hanging out. :dunno: its nice out lol
I almost ALWAYS have my window open unless someone else is riding with me and complains about a cold neck or something. Nothing new for me. ;)
Really unless it is raining buckets, the window is open and all the way down.

Having seen them like Travis describes, I agree.

I was, those worked well.

Funny, Angel gets home last night and her first comment to me is "I want my Jeep back for the snowy drives". Me was sadface.

Did you say "Too late, I bought you a lame car!"?

Nah, I just told her to to glad I didn't let her talk me into buying something that wasn't AWD/4wd. :D
It's not like you're jeepless.

Put some mileage on that thing already! :D
Her driving that thing on the highway would sure turn some heads.

I have! About 3 miles on her in the last month or so. :moon:
