It was an eventual tweak. It was facing the roof about 2/3 of the way through.

squeeze another sticker out of it, then put tons under it.

then you will have 2 years of legalish driving on tons.

i built my last 3 jeeps no more than a couple months after getting it inspected for this very reason.

they usually don't last the length of a sticker anyway. but the black one has til October 31st

Meh shit happens. He said the tank was pushing it but the shocks put it over the edge and now he wont sticker it, I guess I could try to find a shop that would but I doubt it.

cant say i blame him for covering his ass, i got a local place that will just about pass anything, cept they loose there license alot

Oh I 100% understand why. Just a little bit of a bummer, and I wish I had thought about it before I did all that stuff to it. So it's either trailer and tow rig or less hardcore shell swap(MJ)

make a floor that covers the tank and shocks. I did pretty much the exact same thing you did, except I added a floor over it. no reason it wouldnt pass if its done nicely

I thought about stacking stuff over the tank and hiding the shocks but the new floor could be good.
